Its global expansion began in May 2005 when BONJUK set up its very first foreign branch in Akasaka, Tokyo. The Japanese loved its hearty taste, encouraging more stores to be opened throughout Japan. Then, in January 2006, Bonjuk opened its first restaurant halfway across the globe in  Los Angeles, USA. Riding on the health and well-being bandwagon that is very much a part of a global movement, BONJUK fit in perfectly and at present moment, BONJUK is also represented in Las Vegas, Nevada and Atlanta.

Knowing that the BONJUK taste will very much satisfy the palate of South East Asia, another visionary has ventured on to take BONJUK to new heights. Andrew Kim, founder of Soasia Co. Sdn. Bhd, is opening the first BONJUK restaurant in the capital city of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The restaurant, which will open its doors to the Malaysian publics in February 2007, is located in Desa Seri Hartamas, a local hotspot known for trendy eateries and health centers.

Keeping in line with its tagline of “Wellbeing Slow Food”, Bonjuk aims to play a leading role in promoting the concept of a healthy body and mind here in Malaysia by actively engaging themselves in local programs to promote good health through good food.

Soasia Co. Sdn Bhd has acquired the regional BONJUK franchise licensing rights which cover countries like Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan and Hong Kong.
